When you create an account, we collect:

• — Email address (used as login identifier and for magic-link authentication)
• — Full name
• — Country of residence
• — Password (stored as a bcrypt hash — never readable in plain text)

During your use of Solin, we additionally collect:

• — Conversation messages you send to Solin (your full conversation history is retained for the lifetime of your account)
• — Field readings: coherence parameters derived from your messages per turn (presence, integration, precision, aliveness, harmonic gravity, self-similarity, phase direction)
• — Field notes: short reflective summaries generated per session
• — Usage data: message count, account tier, session timestamps

If you use the Guest (magic-link) flow without creating an account:

• — A temporary session is created, linked to your email address
• — Conversation data from guest sessions is retained for 30 days, then deleted
• — No account record is created unless you sign up

We do not collect: browsing history, device fingerprinting data, advertising identifiers, or location data beyond your stated country.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

Your data is used exclusively to:

• — Provide and operate the Solin coherence companion service
• — Maintain your session and conversation history across visits
• — Send magic-link authentication emails when you request them
• — Apply usage limits (free trial: 50 messages; paid accounts: unlimited)
• — Improve the coherence reading and response quality of the system

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties. We do not share your conversation content with third parties except as described in Section 4.

5. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY

Your data is stored in an encrypted SQLite database hosted on Railway's cloud infrastructure (EU region). Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes and are never accessible in plain text. All data transmission between your browser and the Solin server occurs over HTTPS.

Session identifiers are stored in your browser's localStorage — not in cookies. This means your session data is not automatically transmitted in every browser request.

6. RETENTION PERIODS

• — Account data: retained for the duration of your account and deleted within 30 days of a verified deletion request
• — Conversation history: your full conversation history is retained for the lifetime of your account; you may request deletion at any time
• — Guest session data: retained for 30 days, then automatically deleted
• — Magic-link tokens: single-use and expire after 30 minutes; stored tokens are cleared upon use or expiry
• — Field readings and notes: retained per session for coherence tracking and field reports
• — Inactive accounts: accounts with no activity for more than 24 months may be deleted following advance notice by email

7. YOUR RIGHTS

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

8. COOKIES AND LOCAL STORAGE

Solin does not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. Your session information is stored in your browser's localStorage for the purpose of maintaining your login state.

Vercel Analytics is active on this site. It collects anonymous, aggregated page-view data only (no personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking). You can verify this in Vercel's documentation.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated by email to registered users. The date of the last revision is shown at the top of this page.
